Can someone please help me answer these questions about " 12 Angry Men " PLEASE!!!!!
My friend has an assignment due in 1 day and was not able to watch this movie and he is totally lost on how to answer the below questions. He does not speak English well and needs help with 5 questions from this movie. Can someone provide answers for me please? I never watched this flick so I have no clue on how to answer. thanks alot!!!!! Please no bad comments. I am just trying to help him since he needs to answer them properly in order to pass his class's final assignment.
Jury Members from the movie:
1. Jury foreman
2. bank teller
3. message service owner
4. stock broker
5. man from slums
6. painter
7. baseball fan
8. architect
9. feeble old man
10. garage owner
11. watchmaker
12. adman
Communicative styles (from his class):
1.aggressive communicators: attempt to force their ideas on others by name calling, innuendos, insults, threats or commands. Use sarcasm/ridicule, shout , pound on tables, prevent others from talking, interrupt without apology, change the subject. Attack not just the ideas, but the self-concepts of others.
2. assertive communicators: demonstrate equal respect for both their personal rights as group members and the rights of all other members. Have a positive attitude toward themselves and others. Do not try to dictate to others and will not allow dictation from peers. Express ideas directly and as clearly as possible . Listen carefully to others, insist that others give them the same courtesy. Do not insist on their own pet solution, strive for careful exploration of all relevant information and points of view.
3. Non-assertive (passive) communicators: Go along with the group even if they dont agree. make little eye contact with other members. Dont stand up for themselves when their rights are violated. Consistently hesitate to participate /offer opnions because of low self-esteem or indifference.
4. Argumentative communcators: tend to argue and enjoy doing so.
task roles: initiator, information seeker, elaborator, coordinator, summarizer (keeps discussion on track), evaluator, procedural technician (suggests procedures), recorder
maintenance roles: encourager, harmonizer/mediator, gatekeeper (regulates so everyone participates), standard/goal setter, tension releaser(suggests breaks, tells jokes, etc)
personal individual roles: dominator, aggressor, blocker (is negative & stubborn), rocognition seeker, special interest pleader (opposes group's decisions to further his own interests), playboy (does not take task seriously)
------------------------------------------------------------------------
5 QUESTIONS THAT HE NEEDS HELP ANSWERING PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!
1. Using the descriptions of communication styles, assign each member of the jury to the appropriate OVER-ALL style the person used.
---------------------------------------------
In three paragraphs tell:
2. who was the leader of the jury and why?
3. which member of the jury would have made the worse leader and why?
4. what were the major differences between the leader and the man you chose for #3
---------------------------------------------
5. select five members of the jury . Using a list of possible specific roles (see above), indicate which roles each member you selected played. There should be more than one specific role, from more than category.

Here's the answers:
Question #1: Get in Car
Question #2: Go to Blockbuster.
Question #3: Rent Movie
Question #4: Watch Movie
Question #5: Answer Questions
Seriously, it's not due until tomorrow, that gives you at least twelve hours. It's going to take like 2 hours to watch the movie, and about 30 minutes to answer those questions from the looks of them. I haven't seen the movie, but none of those questions look very hard and you (or your friend) still have time to do them.

Why isn't your "friend" taking some initiative and doing the work himself? Instead he has you trying to wrangle help from the internet. I could understand if there were one question he didn't understand; I don't think anyone would have a problem offering some assistance, but you want the whole assignment done.
This is as bad as spamming.

uh.... once again.... I don't need comments, suggestions, & lectures. I am just looking for answers to the questions. I am just helping him out and am not interested in scrutiny. It's not a big deal....so chill out.

Maybe you aren't grasping the general feeling in this thread. No one wants to help you with this entire assignment. Tell your "friend" he will fail unless he rents the movie and does it himself. I'm trying not to be harsh, but you don't seem to get it.

finkpish......maybe you should re-read my statement just above yours. I could care less about your thoughts of the "general feeling" of the thread. And I , too, am not trying to be harsh.

Finkpish...that's REALLY funny...gotta admit...and dorky at the same time.
Evitagen, he enrolled in a "basic" english class that is required for his job. Little did he know , something like this would be required as his last assignment. Personally, I think it's a little too far-fetched for a "basic" English class.

Haha that wasn't an insult to you FinkPish... sorry if you took it that way
I totally agree on the guy doing his own homework. I wish i could come here with my homework every night and get it done. Although I think i might fail if i did that

There is no way that this was an assignment that someone had only one day to complete. Your friend waited until he had one day left and asked you to do the work for him, and now you're here...
I'm not trying to lecture you, babka, but you seem to think that answering these questions just requires that some people show some generosity.
What you're asking for requires a lot more than generosity.
When it comes to asking for assistance, you're in "Help me move into my third floor apartment" territory.
