Same here. I always avoided his movies when I could. Just didn't get his brand of humor, I guess.

Candy's brand: funny without having to scream at you and be in your face

Agree with Dooku that it was a nice tribute that offered little insight into who he was minus a few of the Mac moments. Enjoyed the couple hours I spent watching it but not much more than I would have if I had just searched youtube for clips of John Candy.

It was interesting that Culkin and the football guy (name escapes me… go sports) seemed to get him as a person more than most of the others did.

The movie really didn't give any inside. Everybody liked him, everybody misses him and he had anxiety. It's sadly a bit thin for a movie, but I had tears in my eyes three times.

I agree with a few critics reviews that said it was a bit repetitive at times. I also thought it ran a bit long. It could have been trimmed 15-30 minutes. But I overall I really enjoyed it. It was pretty emotional at times as expected. He's been a favorite of mine since I was a kid.

This was me today. Good grief Dan Aykroyd is a master orator... between that and Kathleen O'Harra's tribute at the end... wow.

I enjoyed the documentary.
