I have a couple questions for anyone who has seen it, just need some help

Spoiler:

If you go to IMDB.com, there are the user comments on the movie. There are a couple of interesting theories as to what really went on.
I didn't like the movie the first time I watched it, but the second time I liked it a lot more. With each viewing you catch different things.

Thanks, haven't listened to the commentary track yet. I'll have to check it out when I have some time.

As commentaries go, it's not bad.

For fans of this movie, the director has another one coming out in a couple months:

I haven't listened to the commentary but this is what I believe happened (in a brief synopsis):

Spoiler:
Remember when Mary comments on the tape that she takes advantage of the weak and injured? If not, re-watch the flick - very important part. Some kind of evil entity was left in the hospital when Mary died (it inhabited her when she was alive). Gordon was weak from being up with the baby & stressors @ home (lack of sleep, relationship stress and ultimately being burned by the hot water). The entity inhabited him and drove him insane.

If anyone has a different explanation please post it here.

I have the same take on the film, but what I love about the movie is that the audience can decide for themselves whether it's a film about the supernatural or just "normal" insanity. It just makes it all the more creepy not knowing for sure.
