If you look at salem's lot (2004) There is a mentally slow character named Dud (Duddits from Dreaamcatcher) A police dog is named Cujo. And Randal Flagg has an appearence as the crow in the crime scene. Secret Window, one character's name is Ted
(Teddy Duchamp of Stand by Me). All King novels and Movies have hints about his other books. I believe that they all live in the same universe and King will make one last book that will include them all.
Well, that's not supposed to be the premise, but King is using the Dark Tower to tie a whole shitload of his novels together (Father Callahan from Salem's Lot becomes an integral character in book 5, The Wolves of the Calla). So much so that SPOILER WARNING:
Spoiler:
the characters have actually met Stephen King and found out that they may not be "real."

Back to the VS thing, how about Van Helsing Vs. The Exorcist?

How about just Mario vs. Luigi. Luigi finally snaps at always playing second banana to his fatter dumber brother and just starts beating the crap out of him with a monkey wrench.

(yeah, it does sound like Celebrity Deathmatch, but it's still funny)
