Cube was a pretty decent sci-fi/horror/thriller from '97 where seven people wake up to find themselves in a strange environment, a cubical maze with thousands of possible rooms that they must then find a way out of using each of their individual skills and talents. There was a mediocre sequel made called Hypercube.

Cube and it's sequel are science-fiction thriller mysteries. The first one is pretty damn freaky and effective.

What I actually think would be a sweet idea for a fan-created short, by someone with animation talent, would be a Handdrawn vs CG Animation fake trailer. Picture this... the heroes of 2D handdrawn movies are tops, until these new 3D cg movie stars come along and take their jobs. Now former stars Pinnocchio, Cinderella, Dumbo, Fieffel, Roger Rabbit, Ariel, etc. are out of work has beens forced to do direct-to-video stuff. They went from being a Tom Cruise to being a Lorenzo Lamas, so to speak. So they decide to get revenge against Woody, Buzz, Shrek, Nemo, Donkey, Scully, Jimmy Neutron, the Ice Age crew, etc. And the battle is on!

How about all the Stephen King Villians meet up accidently and make the ultimate body count?
It takes place in Salem's Lot which is the new feeding ground for Pennywise the Clown, which also the aliens from Dreamcatcher nest in the resevoir along with Pennywise, Randall Flag comes to destroy the human race (prequal to the Stand) , Carrie rises from the dead to kill the remaining members of her school that are hiding out in Salem's Lot.
And they would have John Smith from The Dead Zone helping the good King characters survive the madness.

I was waiting for that Predator Vs. Tarzan comic book cover. I saw it in a used book store a few months ago and almost fell over laughing . . . .
. . . that reminds me, we need a new Gremlins movie anyway! How about meshing it with Star Trek and getting Gremlins Vs. Tribbles?
