Worst opening credits of all time?
What movie has the worst opening credits? I got the idea from the 'best opening credits' thread.
I couldn't think of a 'best', but Panic Room shot into my head as 'worst'. I just don't like those opening credits!

Funny, I loved Shadow of the Vampire's credits. The haunting music and visuals quickly establishes the German Weimar period-like atmosphere of the film and sets the mood perfectly imo.

I remember voting for Shadow of the Vampire last time this question was asked.
You have to laugh while watching these things - it's unbelievable! Reminds me of the protracted space ship entrance at the beginning of Spaceballs. But longer...

SUPERMAN IV: THE QUEST FOR PEACE.
Man, what a half-assed job.
SUPERMAN movies are supposed to have these grand, larger-than-life opening titles.
SUPERMAN IV's opening feels like a cold, limp noodle.

Credits are running!
Still running.
The movie's underway!
Still running.
We're well into the film's first action!
Still running...
Kimble is convicted!
Still... running...
FIFTEEN MINUTES IN, it stops running. I guess they wanted the credits to suit the movie's theme, and...

Man I'm funny.
Worst opening credits? I remember not liking the The Getaway (1994) credits. Usually I'm not paying attention to the opening credits as they seem worthless to me.

I remember a John Water's movie (Multiple Manaiacs?), where the open credits consisted of a slow camera pan down a long sheet of paper with the credits typed on it. Really bad guitar music played in the background.
I dislike any openeing where the screen is black and they play the credits over nothing for a minute or two. If you're gonna go that route, do like Woody Allen and keep it under 30 seconds.

Have to disagree with sierra disc, I watched Superman recently and while the credits are abit long I think they are brilliant, the effect through the rear speakers are good, but on superman 2 they didn't bother as much.
I wouldn't say they were the worst but I have noticed that alot of the comic book movies have the same sort of credits and the music is becoming very similar.
