The movie was gutbustingly funny! Lots of LOL moments. A few duds, but overall most of the jokes worked. I too loved the

Kumar marrying the weed montage
but the

Battleshits
scene was genius! Nothing's better than

humor.

Hopefully the sequel "H & K Go To Amsterdam" gets made right away.

Thank you. Come again.

And one of the points of this movie was to discourage humor like this.

???

Spoiler:
They (Kumar) actually said this line in the movie... Perhaps he was quoting it?

Spoiler:
He said it to the guys that were bullying them, who had used the line on them earlier. Basically, it was turning the tables on them; i.e. payback. I didn't see anything wrong with it.

I saw this movie again and it was just as funny as the first time. Can't wait to get this on DVD.

Tarantino is a fan.

Sucks about the box office though. I might go see this film again this week.

Just saw it last night. I liked it although I wish that they had more Bobby Lee. (I think his character's name was Kenny. He was the nerdy guy in the East Asian club) He's hilarious if you get him going.

yup, Kenneth Park.

As you probably know, Bobby Lee is on MadTV.

As a side note, the second time I went to see it, I went with a buddy who went to Princeton. I was makin' fun of him the whole time. "So those were the kids you hung out with at Princeton?" Oh yeah, callin' him a "twinkie" is always a fun thing esp when his white roommate who was with us was callin' him as well

I saw this movie yesterday. I was crying from laughing so hard during the Battleshit sequence. The laughs were nonstop throughout the movie. Who can't relate to the guys hesitating singing to an Wilson Philips song? I haven't laughed in a movie that hard since Rat Race. Everyone should check out H&K. I like how they integrated the racism aspect with comedy. It works.

Its too bad that a hilarious movie such as H&K is getting shafted at the box office. However, I have a good feeling that It'll find an audience when it hits DVD just like Super Troopers and Old School.

It may not be doing great at the bo for the simple fact the lead actors are not big stars. Nor are they white. Casting of their roles was perfect. This movie was much better than Dude, Where's My Car? as well.

I loved the part where the guy comes out of nowhere to pee next to Kumar. Just random funny.

Yeah, but there have been many movies that make millions with actors who are not that famous. Did anyone know the stars of Star Wars when it came out? The target audience know exactly who Kal Penn and John Cho are (who hasn't seen an American Pie flick or Van Wilder), but who knows why it's tanked. It's gotten many positive reviews from critics and some strong word of mouth; but this type of film does better when it's released on video than in theaters.

I don't know about you, but I'd pay and see this a third time than go see most of the films currently playing in theaters.

That's because Jamie Kennedy rules.

Thought it was hilarious, but it did start to lose steam by the last half hour IMO with the silly unfunny cheetah stuff (which reminded me too much of Dude Where's My Car) and fewer LOL moments.

the best scene of the movie takes place after the Cheetah part....when Kumar marries the big bag of weed. "B*tch....You Wh*re....Aww, it's ok, I love you."

IIRC that takes before the cheetah part. The weed scene takes place in the jail when Kumar is busting Harold out.

order aside, the bag of weed scene was one of the greatest comedic moments of the last few years.

I liked Dude, Where's My Car? better than this, but i've had the chance to see that a million times already, so i'm sure i'll love Harold and Kumar even more once it comes to dvd.

I loved it, I saw it at the $1 theater last week. One thing that drove me crazy. Kumar looks so much like an Indian David Duchovny. It drove me nuts...
