Anyone seen the movie "Clue?"

Anyone seen this? I just got done watching it and I thought it was great. I was so shocked by how entertaining it was. And on the dvd, you can watch it and it has three random endings of possible people who did the crime.

What did others think?

Tim Curry is great, the rest of the movie is not-so-great.

My wife likes this movie, so we have it on DVD. I don't care for it. Murder by Death is much better.

I thought it was hilarious, Tim Curry was great. It's my favorite movie based on a board game.

I personally love the movie version of Candyland better.

Loved it when I was a kid. Haven't seen it in 10 years at least.

The three endings play anyways... that's not a feature.

But I do love the show. Great cast and great laughs.

I saw it in the theater. I can't remember which ending I saw.

I always watched it when it was on tv and of course I have the DVD.

Its a fun little movie and quite enjoyable.

It was a lot of fun seeing it in the theater, because you never knew which ending you would see. I guess the theater never changed, but if you went to a different theater, you'd get a different ending most likely. I don't think they rotated endings in the same theater, but I might be wrong.

According to IMDB:

There was actually a fourth ending scripted and shot, in which Wadsworth committed all the murders out of a twisted need for perfection in his life. He reveals that he poisoned everyone with a slow-acting toxin in their drinks. It ended with Wadsworth being killed by dogs as he attempted to escape by car from the house. The rather grim nature of the ending is probably why it was never released - it only survives in the novelization and the storybook, which features but a single photo from that ending (the Chief punching Wadsworth in the stomach).

I liked this movie, it's got a great cast who are able to execute the over the top performance without actually going too over the top. It's a fun movie.

Would make a great mini festival with Murder by Death and Haunted Honey Moon.

At LA's Nuart Theater (home of the Rocky Horror Midnight for 20+ years) they do midnight screenings of CLUE occasionally

Love this movie, but I've never heard about that fourth ending (and I've seen the trivia page on IMDb and never recall reading about it).

Fun flick I'll watch when I skim by it on cable. Never saw it in the theater. The "flames' quote above was the first thing I thought of when I saw the thread title.

I seem to remember the movie section of my paper saying which ending the theater had. A, B or C. I wonder how many paid ta see it three times.

Also my favorite flick based on a board game, although E.R. is my favorite TV show based on a board game.

Cheers.

I like it. The fact that Lee Ving was in it is enough to make it a cool movie. All the versions of this film I've seen (before DVD was invented) showed all the endings in succession. I missed it in theaters though.

I always thought it was a fun flick. I would always watch it on TV so I had to get the DVD.

Lesley Ann Warren and Colleen Camp brought new-found bounce to their roles. At any given moment, either one was gonna pop out
