I have faith in Nolan. I think he knows what he's doing.

This is a prequel isn't it?

In that case, for an early model batmobile, that fits perfectly.

I read the BB script. This fits in perfectly with what Nolan/Goyer have planned. Believe you me, once you see what this thing does you'll be drooling with impish joy and geeklike eggroll trampolines!

Out of the script...it's a prototype Batmobile, made up of military/tech parts from Wayne corporation. Supposed to look kinda humveeish, and that matches the script fairly accurately.

It's not wicked cool looking like the first Batmobile (which just has to be one of the coolest cars made for a movie), but hey...until I see it in context I'm not going to make a judgement.

Like was said in previous threads about the Batmobile, its something more practical and realistic. Plus, it looks very similar to the Batmobile in Frank Miller's Dark Knight Returns

Looks like a cross between a Delorean and a Hummer.

The more I see of this abomination, the less I want to see it in the theater. No impish drooling here, sorry.

But that's not the point. It isn't about whether I would buy one, it's whether I "buy" the idea of Batman having one, and calling the Batmobile. If he had it as part of his arsenal, for a specific purpose, that's one thing, but the thought of that thing cruising around Gotham strikes me as rather stupid.

what suits you. I may not be thrilled with it, but one little item will not keep me out of the theater. especially considering it is explained as to why it is there and it is practical.

That batmobile is kickass, and everyone I have shown it to has agreed. Can't wait for this film.
