I read the BB script. This fits in perfectly with what Nolan/Goyer have planned. Believe you me, once you see what this thing does you'll be drooling with impish joy and geeklike eggroll trampolines!

Out of the script...it's a prototype Batmobile, made up of military/tech parts from Wayne corporation. Supposed to look kinda humveeish, and that matches the script fairly accurately.
It's not wicked cool looking like the first Batmobile (which just has to be one of the coolest cars made for a movie), but hey...until I see it in context I'm not going to make a judgement.

Like was said in previous threads about the Batmobile, its something more practical and realistic. Plus, it looks very similar to the Batmobile in Frank Miller's Dark Knight Returns
