i didn't want to hijack the Reviews thread, so for those that saw the movie...what were the trailers they showed prior?

I don't think for advance screenings they show the same trailers that would be attached to the film once it has been officially released. Were you wondering if there were any trailers for Terminator: Salavation, etc.?

For what it's worth, at the advance screening I went to, the only trailer they showed before Watchmen was for Observe and Report (starring Seth Rogen). To me, it looked like a cruder, perhaps funnier version of Mall Cop (which I never saw and don't intend to ever see).

yeah, i figured the non-traditional showings would be different. just wanted to know if there would be any new ones to look forward to.

The screening I went to on Monday only had WB-related trailers: Terminator Salvation and Observe and Report.

It's a Zack Snyder film. Just head to the bathroom when one of the countless slow motion scenes starts, and you'll be back before that punch/explosion/whatever is over.

I can only imagine the pain it will be to take a bathroom break during an IMAX showing. At my nearest IMAX theater, at least, the space between rows is pretty tight (moreso than average theater seating), so not much maneuverability once everyone is firmly planted in their seats. And good luck finding your spot again when you come back!

17 minutes of the Watchmen movie

I've made a change.

Instead of the 17 minutes of Watchmen, you get:
Hi, I'm a Marvel...and I'm a DC: Wolverine and Watchmen

I am glad I do not work at a theater as part of the crew that has to clean up after the showings of this film ... ;)

that is why the theater chains across the US had such high turnover rates in December 2001, December 2002, & December 2003.

That 17 minutes of Watchmen didn't ruin the movie for me at all. I still really want to see it, but I feel like I can wait a few days now.

I thought it was new footage, but it was just the clips i've already seen before.

Multiple internet sources confirm a Star Trek trailer. I'd be willing to bet on HP and maybe Terminator as well.

The sure bets are:

Observe and Report
Terminator Salvation
Star Trek
Public Enemies

Yeah, I don't think there will be any surprises here. We've seen trailers for these before. Anyone think there'll be anything during/after the credits?

EDIT
Trailers attached were:

Inglorious Basterds
Terminator Salvation
Observe & Report
Star Trek

Too bad the OP didn't explain what it was in the first post. Would have saved you some time.

can't wait for the inevitable "Watchmen" vs. "The Dark Knight" thread!

Hey, I think this might all be previously seen footage that somebody just edited together!

I think I made exactly what it was pretty clear. Maybe someone else can can link you to some bootlegged footage. I just thought this was something interesting people might like to see. But there always has to be a whiner or two, doesn't there?

So ... hard ... to ... keep ... from ... jumping in ....

Anyway, the parts of the OP that are misleading are these here "Someone has taken the footage made available online ... all the clips, US and international trailers" which to me totally says that this is new footage that has never appeared on the internet before.

ahh ...

Re: 17 minutes of the Watchmen movie

Mannnn. Fuck that. I'll just go see it!

I'd be amused to see a fourty-five-minute youtube video with everything put together in chronological order. It's, like, a quarter of the movie!
