Off topic, but if you get a chance to see the new TV GUIDE, check out the new picture of Gillian...she's a BLONDE now!
Blonde is her natural color - the famous redhead look was always a dye job (...which I'm sure she would do again if the X-File 2 movie really happens).

I missed the last season because of the poor writing. I wonder if they will pick up new or from their last season together.

The last few seasons got so loopy that a casual viewer like me couldn't possibly understand what the hell was going on, so I just gave up. They seemed to emphasize things and then they just disappeared, like that kid they were protecting for awhile. Maybe I just missed the episodes were they explained all of that.

As a hardcore X-Files fan, I am there opening day. At first, I wanted the second X-Files movie to wrap-up the conspiracy plotlines from the show. Now, I'm not so sure. I think a standalone plot would be better this time around, with classic Mulder and Scully interactions.

As long as the movie is GOOD, I don't really care what the plot is. Let's hope they take this all the way!

Oh yeah, and Gillian Anderson is one of my favorite actresses. Boy, is she hot! I agree with Groucho that a topless Scully scene could make this movie even better.

But that is the way it always was. They would throw an episode about the black oil at you and yet after the hour was up, you knew exactly NO more than you did before the episode.

I'll be the first to admit I enjoyed the final seasons, mostly for Dogget, but the whole super soldier thing was terribly lame. The one off they did in season 1(?) with Tony Todd was far superior.

She is much more attractive as a redhead.

Yes, she is. But I don't think blonde is her natural hair color. I was a blonde for my first 2 years and my hair is as dark as the black oil and has been since I was 18.

She had brown hair with red highlights to begin the show and she went all the way red. You know, I've seen every show and I've watched all the dvds, but I can't single out one episode where she goes from the brownish-red to the complete red.

Maybe someone else can.

Looking forward to the movie, but DD is looking really weird lately. I like women and all, but Mulder was always a sexy-cool guy and DD looks terrible lately, so maybe they can work on that a bit.

Nope. Check her out in the pilot. Her hair is BROWN. After that one episode Scully mysteriously became a redhead.

Nope. She dyed it blonde. It's dark brown. Heard her say it on leno or Letterman years ago.

The odd thing is, I find the mystery of Gillian's hair color more intriguing than most episodes of The X-Files.

Guess you just haven't seen the good ones then.

Watch the Duane Barry/Ascension/One Breath and Anasazi/The Blessing Way/ Paperclip trilogies and you will be hooked for life.

Wow! She looks a whole lot younger as a blonde. But could be, I have never found redheads all that attractive.

Guess we could go by the eyebrow test and meet halfway. Dirty blonde.
