Agreed Soul Plane look horrible. This at least has a reason behind the madness.

so its ok for some black gusy to dress up as white girls?
I sure there would be outrage and tons of people calling a movie racist if there was white guys playing black girls
As clearly stated C. Thomas Howell and Jamie Kennedy have both done it. Not to mention Billy Crystal less than two months ago. Please stop race baiting and acting like your a persecuted man when you're not.

I might see this for shites and giggles matinee of course. Soul Plane is out though.

I was at a screening of this tonight. If any Freaks and Geeks fans were thinking of seeing this because of Busy Philipps (the main reason I went), well, she did get a lot of screentime--more than I was expecting. Seeing her (and her cleavage) on the big screen was definitely the highlight of the movie for me.

As for the rest of the movie, I thought it was a fun diversion--I laughed at a lot of the jokes, rolled my eyes at others. Yeah, there are some "now I know how women feel" anvils, but it's not that bad. I wouldn't pay $10.50 for it, but it's worth catching at a matinee or something, for Busy if nothing else.

Black folks be like (blank).

But White folks be like (blank).

I'm sick of this urban comedy template. You know, the one that reinforces the age-old stereotypes. I get it. Black people have more soul and are better at sports. White peole are richer, smarter, but tragically cannot dance. It's funny how racist that sounds when boiled down to its core. Maybe I'm interpreting the trailers wrong for this film, but it seems it's just the next one coming down the pike after crap like RUSH HOUR and BRINGING DOWN THA HOUSE(the name alone makes me cringe) has secured a place for Blaxploitation well into the next decade.

How this minstrel show is being sold as cutting edge or new in the slightest is mindboggling. This is really not too different from Amos 'n Andy or Al Jolsen. Donald Bogle wrote an interesting book about this called Toms, Coons, Mulattoes, Mammies & Bucks: An Interpretive History of Blacks in American Films. It's an interesting read about how historic racial stereotypes live on today in places you would never suspect.

I don't know who is the bigger idiot...The two people who paid to see it, or your theater for actually having a midnight showing of a movie called WHITE CHICKS.

Exactly how I feel. I literally cannot look at Michael Jackson cause it freaks me out. Same with Cher. When I see the commercial for this movie I gotta turn away because I can't stomach looking at their faces. It just not even close to looking natural. I can't believe they couldn't do a better makeup job on these two. It's kinda like those paintings with the moving eyes behind them. Too creepy for me. Also reminds of those Quizno commercials with the talking rat-like animals.

I usually like the Wayans Bros stuff. "Don't Be A Menace To South Central While Drinking Your Juice In The Hood" gets me pissin my pants everytime I see it and I think I was one of the two people who liked their show, but I think I'll skip this one.

This movie looks horrible. They just look creepy with their make up on. I liked Sorority Boys, but this just looks dumb.

It definitely wasn't a good movie by any means, but it was entertaining. There were some parts that just had me rolling. If it can make me laugh and be a little entertaining then I usually like it.

They do look extremely hideous with the makeup, but I think that's meant to be part of the joke--nobody thinks anything of it (and many guys in the movie think they're hot), because plastic surgery is so commonplace.

I'm not sure how a theater can be an idiot, but I'd the blame squarely at the feet of our district manager, who has midnight shows running the night before every summer release.

We even had an Aound The World In 80 Days midnight show. Christ.

Not the same two, however.

This looks soooo bad. "Horrific" and "Vile" don't seem to cut it. I think we need a new word for how bad this looks. Maybe "Whitechickerrific?" as in "Boy, that movie was whitechickerrific."

So just to clear things up for me, are the 2 "chicks" supposed to be HUMAN women?

I heard the original title was "Satan's Butt Splatterings," but that didn't score well with test audiences.

The trailer for this thing has played in front of the last 10 or 15 movies I've seen, and EVERY time the trailer's over (while I'm trembling in my seat from the horror I've just seen) I've heard someone say "That looks GOOD! We gotta see that!" So I'm sure the general public will lap it up and it'll make a ton of money and it won't be long before "White Chicks 2: Back in the Thongs" will be out.

Dear God, this movie made 4.2 million on opening day, coming in at number one for the dailies. Boxofficereport.com predicts it'll be the number #1 movie for the weekend as well. Shame shame America.

By the way, I thought the correct spelling for the word was chic, not chick. Or is that somehow part of the story or joke?

Say what you will, yup, it's a lewd, crude, send-up of FBI agents (who are brothers, and black) going undercover as rich, white girls to get themselves out of an assignment that goes wrong.

There were points in this film that made me laugh so hard that I was sitting up and leaning forward. The audience appears to have a good time with the film as well. I felt the foot pounding in the seating from the audience as they laughed at the funny scenes. The physical comedy is very entertaining.

The plot is pretty simple, and linear, but getting from the start to the finish was a fun ride that doesn't quite over-stay its welcome.

I give it 2.75 stars, or a grade of B-.
