What should I see this weekend?

I plan on seeing Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and one other movie. Which one should it be out of the two getting wide releases? (I am assuming Eternal Sunshine will be playing in my area as I do have an arthouse theater and it is considered Metropolitan).

I wanted to see Taking Lives and heard some positive buzz, but now a lot of reviews are saying it's el stinko aside from Angelina Jolie. I find it interesting that whenever a movie with her is released, critics almost always praise her but knock the rest of the movie to no end. She needs to pick better projects, as I think she is very talented and could definitely use a hit to confirm it with the masses.

I wasn't going to give Dawn of the Dead the time of day, but the few advance reviews say it is worth checking out, so my interest is growing.

Some first run theaters charge less for one ticket than Blockbuster charges for a DVD rental . Most theaters don't, really, but some do. Besides, he said he asked which movies to see, not whether or not he should wait until they come out on DVD.

I think I'll try for Dawn of the Dead, should I go before or after I eat? I don't want to lose my dinner if it's as gory as the original.

Dawn of the Dead for me,but I am a huge fan of the orginal trilogy and zombie films in genral so this is coming from a somewhat biased opinion. The whole idea of the dead walking the earth and feasting upon the living has always freaked me out to no end, i just love these movies lol

Eternal Sunshine is a must-see in my opinion. I think that Dawn of the Dead just looks like the same-old zombie movie that I've seen countless times already, and disliked everytime I've watched it, so I'd go with Taking Lives.

I'm going with Sunshine and Dawn of the Dead... as well as The Girl Next Door sneak. If I have time I'll check out taking Lives, but the others are much higher on the list... Dawn looks fantastic.

Go with Eternal and Dawn. If you can go for three, go for the sneak of Girl Next Door on Saturday night.

Taking Lives is an awful movie. If you want to see the movie, wait to rent it.

Yeah, but doesn't Taking Lives look like everyone thriller that's come out in the past six years?

Different strokes for different folks, I suppose.

True, it absolutely does. But Angelina Jolie makes worth taking my time to see.

Think I'll do Sunshine tonight and Dawn at an afternoon matinee tommorrow. Since Both Dawn and Lives are at the same theatre in my area, I might try to sneak into Lives.

well.. caught both Greendale and Latter Days yesterday, DC Environmental Film fest: Los Angeles Plays Itself is today. Tony Kushner's playHomebody: Kabul tomorrow night, so... looks like Dawn on monday. No rush to see Sunshine since my friend is the manager at the theatre where it is playing and he can get me in for free.
