BTW : I'm half way through watching SKY CAPTAIN and I don't feel compelled to watch the rest of it for the reasons you've stated. Might just have to send it back to NetFlix 1/2 watched. heh.

Nope, but if there were a shot of a bunch of characters' feet, that would be a dead giveaway.

What's interesting is that the guy who made Sky Captain is to my knowledge directing an adaptation of Princess of Mars, a project to which RR was originally attached before he quit the DGA. Take that FWIW.

No, no, no - I read on Hollywood Insider that it's a slow motion shot of Willis, Rourke, Owen, del Toro, and Frodo walking in front of a brick wall.

Thought everyone would like to see my two newest framed posters.
They are not normal movie size, so I had to get them custom framed, but once framed they looks soooooo sweet. I now have every poster made of the movie so far.

The more I see from this film, the more excited I get. April 1st can't come quick enough, but I keep questioning, how is an average movie audience going to react to ? Without knowing that the film has literally been storyboarded from the graphic novels, aren't average audiences gonna have a problem with the high styled atmosphere, expecially the very obviously CGIed background?

I'm gonna stop watching trailers for this if I can help it... the more I see, the less interesting it looks. I have a feeling it will be really boring to me... like that Sky Captain movie... I fell asleep in the theater watching that.

There always has to be "that guy".Sky Captain was a movie that all style & new special effects. Sin City is as much character driven as it is about style.

I have a feeling that this movie will not impress the guy in question as he seems to have little knowledge of the comics and this looks like one movie that will play well to those fans but not many outside the loop.

On the other hand, I know quite a few people that know nothing about it, but after seeing the trailer/s they were all at least interested, most were excited even.
