Van Helsing- Looks like it could be very entertaining. Seeing Hugh Jackson kick ass is always fun.
Starsky and Hutch- As someone who used to watch rerurns of the show as a kid in the 80's, I'm really disappointed with the direction they went with this project. Though the show was certainly amusing at times, casting Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson is stretching it. Their schtick is seriously getting old: Stiller as the dork who thinks he's badass and Wilson with his stupid surfer-dude speak. The Beastie Boys captured the tone perfectly with their Starsky and Hutch-inspired video for "Sabotage". This film just looks like Zoolander with some Undercover Brother thrown in. I'll pass.
The Passion of the Christ- Looks fantastic, though I still feel Gibson should have cast Palestinian and Arabian actors in this film instead of the typical mostly-Caucasian cast. Hey, if you're gonna try for more realism than Hollywood depictions of the past you might as well go all the way. Makes you wonder what sunblock Jesus was using to stay so white under all that sun. Anyways, this trailer is terrific. The Gethsemane scenes look dark and eerie and the music works well (is it from the film?) I'll be seeing this on opening day.
Jersey Girl- "A story about the challenges we face.....the people that inspire us.....Blah blah blah". Looks like a lame chick flick and I can't stand Ben Affleck. In fact, every morning after I take my ritual dump, I turn around, look into the bowl and name it "Ben Affleck". *Flush* I'll pass.
The Girl Next Door- Didn't even bother to finish watching the trailer. Next!

The Starsky and Hutch movie looks stupid enough to be funny. Will Ferrell's part in the trailer is hilarious. I hope there is more of him in the flick.

I'm not sure if in this film he's the same character or a descendant or if it really matters.

Miracle Trailer
Check out the trailer for Miracle: Miracle trailer. I think this movie looks like a winner. I get goosebumps everytime I hear Al Michaels yell, "Do you believe in Miracles?"
