Van Helsing looks pretty cool to me. Although some of the CGI towards the end looks pretty bad.

Nice, I've been looking for the Jersey Girl preview on the net ever since it was attached to Cold Mountain. Thanks!

Thanks for the heads up and the links.

Van Helsing: looks horrible, just horrible. I'm actually a fan of The Mummy and Deep Rising is one of my favorite B movies so I held out hope for Sommers but this has LXG written all over it.

Starsky and Hutch: Everyone raise their hand who thought of the Dragnet movie while watching the trailer. I like both Wilson and Stiller, but it didn't work then and it doesn't look like it's working now. The one funny part of the trailer was Vince Vaughn.

Jersey Girl: This trailer was meant to say one thing: THIS IS NOT GIGLI! LOOK J-LO IS BARELY IN IT!

The Passion: I didn't really have a desire to see this, but the controversy made me curious. After seeing the trailer I have seen enough.

The Girl Next Door: I never heard of it, but as a trailer it's the best of this bunch. Horrible tagline aside, it made the movie appear to have potential, even though it's not targeted at my demo.

I thought Starsky & Hutch looked pretty good. I'm a big Ben Stiller fan, so naturally I'm interested.

The Passion is probably the film that I most want to see this year. I've got great faith in Mel Gibson and his talents, and everything I've seen has looked excellent so far.

Van Helsing? Looks decent, but seeing Hugh Jackman playing a character that is much younger than he was in the book Dracula is hard to swallow. Still, Hugh Jackman kicks major a** and this looks like it will give him the perfect opportunity to kick some more.

I loved Starsky & Hutch ( "this place opens at eight!") some good bits and I hope more people see it then they did for Zoolander.
Van Helsing looks pretty cool, the weapons look a little LXG, but that isn't a bad thing. And I thought the Wolfman looked good.

Apple has the trailers to Anne Hathaway's Ella Enchanted and David Mamet's Spartan with Val Kilmer, William H. Macey, Ed O'Neil and Derek Luke.

The Passion Trailer did not work for me, I found a different link for what I believe to be the trailer you were talking about:

man, bowie's "pressure" is getting a workout in trailers...

and jeresy girl looks good enough. the trailer is definitely driving home the point the j-lo is not in it much at all. i thought it would say something like "from writer/director kevin smith"

maybe it did say that and i just zoned out.

Hmm...only ones I'm looking forward to are Starsky & Hutch and The Passion. Saw the Jersey Girl trailer with Cold Mountain. Would of liked to say that this was just Kevin Smith collecting a paycheck but I guess its not.

Um, I think you guys saw the wrong trailer. Van Helsing looked cool as hell. C'mon! A fan of Deep Rising thinks this looks horrible.

That's because this is the first trailer, and the films is still months away. The effects aren't finished. Never judge effects from an early trailer. That said, considering the insanity of those effects, I thought most looked fantastic except for maybe the huge monster at the end that throws Jackman. Then again, you never know which effects are unfinished.

Yeah, that's the part that struck me the most. I know that the standard response is that "oh its a trailer, its unfinished" but i actually rarely notice a dramatic difference between trailers and their finished products. Nevertheless, still looks like a fun movie.

As for the others.... Starsky and Hutch looks like it could be funny. Owen Wilson is great. Jersey Girl looks interesting... a good date movie.

The trailer for Passion had the title as "The Passion of the Christ". Is this another name change?
