Awesome! I'm happy to see other Transporter fans show up excited.

Is it even confirmed this will get some sort of wide release? As far as I remember the first one wasn't a big hit, if any sort of hit at all.
When I first learned of a sequel, I always assumed it would be straight-to-DVD.
I never had the chance to see the first on in a theater. I didn't even find out about it until it had been on DVD for a little while. If this one goes to the big screen anywhere near me, I'll be there.

I LOVED the fights in the first one, Statham was the man, he should be in every movie, & Shu Qi is beyond hot, but the movie as a whole was lacking, even for a dumb action movie.
I can't wait for this one though. Statham needs to star in more movies.

I think that this is one of the movies that did much better after it was released on video.
I never saw it in the theatres, and never really wanted to. Watching it on dvd however converted me. Great movie.

Loved the 1st one (Theater and DVD) and I will be going to see the 2nd. The movie was just lots of fun to watch and enjoy. Some of the best driving and action sceen around, bring it on.

Did anyone catch Jason Statham's transporter-like cameo in Collateral?

At least it's still being directed by one of Besson's puppet-men. If someone's style is going to be cribbed, I prefer the director being cribbed is involved behind the scenes.
