Are There Any Fans Of 'About Last Night' Here?

I saw this movie for the first time in a long time yesterday, and it just jogged my memory to what a underrated classic it is!

One of my favorites, based on the 1974 play Sexual Perversity in Chicago which seems to be playing somewhere in the world all the time - just this year it was staged in London with Matthew Perry and Minnie Driver. Incidentally, the role played by Belushi in the movie was played by Warren Casey in the original production - he's the co-author of Grease.

They should have kept the title of Mamet's play. I prefer the Canadian version myself: Aboot Last Night.

Love it. Didn't think I'd see as much of Demi Moore as I did.

It's a guilty pleasure of mine. I do love the Demi nuditie, but Jim Beluishi is a scream and Rob Lowe is actually tolerable and enjoyable.

Excellent movie. The opening sequence between Belushi and Lowe is the best - "So tell me'...."What?"...."About Last Night"...."Are you kidding me? Are you f'ing kidding me? Are you pulling my leg?"....

I've been to a lot of the locations in Chicago (including the bar - Mother's) where they filmed parts, so that adds to it as well.
