so, i don't own stock but my mom does. if the vote wins, what will happen to the stock? will the price fall because of possible chaos in the company?
in other words, (considering stockholders don't want to lose money), will this pass ?

Kicking Eisner out and instating management that will return Disney to the company it was under Walt will only make the company more profitable. I don't know why it hasn't happened, already. But with the two biggest boardmembers, one of them a Disney, trying to get them out, I odn't think they have much time left at the helm.

Go Roy. The past 10 years under Eisner have been anything but memorable.

I have a friend who is a Sr. Corporate Counsel to Disney in one of their legion of outside "Of Counsel" law firms. The attorneys refer to the company as DisMe which I always thought would be hilarious were it not for their barracuda tactics.
Apparently both the in-house counsel and the management are the biggest @ssholes on the planet, and she told me that if the world knew just how many pricks were behind the Disney name, Tinkerbell would drop her wings and join Warner. She said their courtroom tactics would shame Walt Disney were he to witness just how cuthroat the company has become in losing its soul on the way to higher dividends.
What a shame. And that "Quick! Better get it before it goes in the vault!" crap has exactly the opposite effect on me: I don't appreciate being pressured and if they manipulate the inventory, it just means that my money won't be going to buy DisMe products. I love the classic animation stories as much as the next person, but I will not make a purchase when I am being threatened.
