I think it looks to be good, but that shot of the Predators on the temple before that huge, blue explosion ball thing look dumb.

Looks like they have a queen and plenty of aliens. That's good, I was concerned it would be like 8 humans, 3-4 predators, and 5 aliens or something silly. Good to see they're doing it right and swarming the aliens against everyone else.

It looks like a fun popcorn flick. Nothing more. Not that that's a bad thing.

too bad it's not in the Aliens time frame, at least not from what I've read on it

... doesn't mean the film will have any. I think that if the film had ANY nu-metal, Paul Anderson (The Most Untalented, Unimaginitive Hack That Has Ever Cursed Cinema) would be strung up and crucified while people hurl pineapples at him. Still in the cans.

Looked pretty awful. I never really thought the Alien or Predator franchises had any dignity any way but there it went. No human side to the story = no deal.

The first two Alien films are bonafide classics.

There would be a human side if it was called "Humans Vs Predator" or "Humans Vs Alien" but it's not so what are you missing?

It just looks like Freddy vs Jason to me. That's all. I'm sure it will be fun.

I don't remember exactly, but I think it was only like 50 years from now. it was a while ago that I read that though, maybe they changed it
considering the name of Lance Henriksen's character maybe they moved it closer to the Alien/Aliens time frame
I still think setting it in the years immediately after Aliens would be best. Like the games and I assume the books/comics

I'm just hoping it's better than Alien 3 or Resurrection.

This looks like it has some potential, will check this out for sure.

I loved Alien3, but hated Resurrection. Hope AvP is better than that tripe.

I thought it looked pretty damn awful. Like someone else said, seems to be almost too much CG. As a fan of both series, I will be seeing it opening day, no matter what. Hopefully I will be pleasantly surprised.
