I have never seen Demolition Man (1993) until last night. Ok movie, funny at times, mostly set in 2032.

But the line that had me rolling in the aisles is the following. Remember the movie is made in 1993!

(Stallone): "The SCHWARZENEGGER library?"

"yes, the Schwarzenegger PRESIDENTIAL library."

(Stallone): "He was PRESIDENT?"

"Well, his popularity was so great, that we did have to institute the 51st amendment, since he wasn't born in the U.S., but yes.
Wasn't he an actor at one time?"

Now, sure, the joke was meant as a Stallone vs. Schwarzenegger joke, but given the events of the last week, I almost fell out of my chair, laughing.

Thoughts? Any other movies that have been so inadvertantly prophetic?

Thought about the baseball playoffs this week in relation to Back to the Future II. Remember Marty going to 2015 and seeing the Cubs beat Miami in the World Series? Well, when Florida got a team it was in the National league, so they can't meet in the World Series, but they are meeting in the NLCS. So it didn't quite take 30 years for the Cubs to get good (only 18).

Bush isnt a "junior"... the 41st was George Herbert Walker Bush... the 43rd is George Walker Bush. Im sure if you do a little research, you'll find that only ignorant left-wing idiots trying to belittle the man use the "junior" name. BTW, Albert Gore IS a junior, so if you feel a need to use that word to belittle someone... theres your oportunity.
