Monster's Ball. I set up my portable DVD player while I was out of town and had a few people over to see it. About 1 hr into it, my battery gave out. Needless to say, no one was upset, and I've still never seen the rest of it.
Just can't get into it.

DVD Talk Hero
I've got two that I still plan on getting back to someday: French Connection and M*A*S*H. I've seen bits and pieces of M*A*S*H through the years and never thought that watching the movie would put me to sleep. Ah well

I know this is possible social suicide, but
I had trouble with both:
LOTR: FOTR
AND
LOTR: TTT
I fell asleep watching both. Why? I never read the books, so therefore I was coming in cold. I felt none of the characters had any emotional resonance to me.
Granted, the effects are stunning, the cinematography is superb, and the soundtrack is inspiring, BUT:
I must say, I'm not a fan.
