I think that it would kick ass if they got Cruise and Kilmer back for the sequel.

If this movie is a Bay/Bruckheimer movie (RIP Don Simpson), expect a love triangle with Cruise, Willis, and Moore.

you're forgeting Michael Bay, dude....

& slow-motion close-up of Tom Cruise face on EVERY scene he show up

now, THAT would ROCK!!

Lost Boys 2
From DarkHorizons.com

The Lost Boys 2: A few more rumblings from within Warners today from another top source (this one to remain anonymous) - this time in regards to a sequel to one of the best vampire movies of the 80's - "You wouldn't believe how many times this has been off and on the books. When I first got my shoe-in at the studio, it was a go picture. Then, someone got wind of just how crappy the screenplay was. Anyway, Joel Schumacher is back in the good books with Warner, he is apparently retooling his Batman movies for a SE dvd set, and while there has been planning it and has signed on to executive producer the Lost Boys sequel. Once again, Lions Gate's Cabin Fever and New Line's Freddy vs Jason can be thanked - or blamed - for this. Horror is the No.1 priority on all the studio's list. They wanted Schumacher to direct, but he's not interested. This isn't the Lost Girls idea that was going around, a straight sequel to that first one. Kiefer Lives or something...ha".

Sidenote... my best friends from high school started a band named after the psycho guy in this film - Horace Pinker... They're still making music (although only one original member persists).

I'd like to see:

Super Troopers 2
Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai 2
Name of the Rose 2 (could've been a whole Sherlock series of flicks)
Time Rider 2
Princess Bride 2
Fifth Element 2
Empire Records 2

1. I can't be the only one slightly disappointed that we got prequels instead of sequels. I still kinda want to see these.

2. Narrator finds himself in a mental institution with a crazed Brad Pitt. He starts remembering flashes of something...something about a world devastated by plague...about animals taking over...about...monkeys

3. Or how about "Naked Lunch on the Planet of the Apes"
I can think of four things wrong with that title.

I'd like to see that also, plus, now that she's in her 20's, maybe we could see her in more skimpy clothing.

I just picked it up and as I was watching it I thought that would be great if they did a prequel!

They could show Pizza the hut when he was just a breadstick and show the Mog planet.
