Favourite Costner Movie?
Voted for Dances with Wolves. I really enjoyed The Untouchables, Bull Durham, JFK, No Way Out, and Open Range too. He may not be a chameleon like Gary Oldman, but he seems very sincere and down to earth.

Some guy I knew in college likes to rip on every movie with Costner in it even though he likes half of Costner's movies. Then again, he is a braindead lemming who eats his boogers at age 25 and listens to Barry Manilow.

Now that I've finally seen Open Range, I can jump in on this thread.
I've been giving it some thought but can't seem to pick just one as a favorite. That being said, for today I'll go with: The Untouchables, Dances with Wolves, Robin Hood, and The Postman as my favorites.
Films like A Perfect World, Wyatt Earp, The War, Waterworld, and Open Range would be on the second tier.
I find almost all of his films to be entertaining; Costner has an impressive filmography.
If I recall correctly from a similar thread in the past (time sure flies!), some people find his earnestness to be off-putting, but I'll echo NavinJohnson's earlier comment that he comes across to me too as pretty sincere and down-to-earth. I don't know.......I suppose he just seems like a guy who puts a lot of heart into the making of his films.............and I appreciate that.

Voted for JFK, even though I give Oliver Stone more credit for
that movie than I do Costner. Open Range would be my pick if it
were there. Costners has an impressive list of movies. Most of
his films are atleast above average, with a few gems.

my favorite guy to watch on HBO. Personally I find Waterworld and The Postman to be silly, but I do enjoy watching these two movies on HBO.
I'm going to watch The Bodyguard sooner or later. HAHA!
