I think it's a cool idea, but think about how difficult it's going to be to translate the books to film. I think it's a really daunting task.

I'm just waiting around for Under Siege 3...

Seriously, I think that Spiderman and X-Men will be serialized. Charlie's Angels will probably be ongoing, as will The Matrix. (I don't see the Wachowski brothers dropping this after the third film, frankly...)

As far as I am concerned they can forget Restaurant at the end of the universe.
I liked restaurant at the end of the universe, with the cow, and god and everything. wasn't the everlasting party in this book?

God help us, you may get your wish...

Under Siege sequel rumor

A rumor about Steven Seagal and another UNDER SIEGE sequel that will have you laughing out loud!
Hey folks, Harry here.... This just sounds so bizarre... I mean look at this. Terrorist versus Casey Rybeck in... well you read, I'll be with you afterwards...
Harry

Mr personality himself, Steven Seagal, is here in Luxembourg filming something called "Unleashed". I caught a piece with him on RTL, Radio Tele Luxembourg.

He says next up he's doing another "Under Siege" [god help us]. It's apparently taken so long because he "likes playing different characters" and hadn't felt the need to revisit Casey Ryback until now. And full of surprises he says the idea they have for this one is to have Ryback and daughter's hot air balloon ride interrupted to terrorists who take over a fellow balloon.

Heck - just when movies were starting to improve.Zoinks!

Gonzo.

So couldn't you just shoot the other guy's balloon? Ok, I mean, I just ... this sounds utterly ridiculous... Remember, it is a rumor and sometimes things said on Radio are done with tongue in cheek.... I hope. Maybe he was just trying to... float... the idea... I'm sorry.

Speed 3!!!!!!!!! but bring back Keanu Reeves and of course, the lovely Sandra Bullock. Speed 1 was awsome but Speed 2 was okay but not good as the first.

Bad Boys=Awsome
Bad Boys 2=Awsome
So please bring Bad Boys 3!!!!

Well, I thought Under Seige 1 was really good but I havent seen Under Seige 2 so I'm not sure why theres so much hate towards it. But a Under Seige 3 shouldnt be bad right?.

I love cars so I liked fast and the furious and 2 fast 2 furious so I hope they will make a 3rd 1 but also bring back Vin diesel (Dom), Michelle Rodriguez (Letty), Jordana Brewster (Mia), Chad Lindberg (Jesse), Matt Schulze (Vince) and some how bring them back together and I'm sure bringing them back can make a better story then the first 2. Yes, we don't know if Jesse actually got killed or not in the fast and the furious cuz they never said. And we dont know what happened to the rest of the group so it would be nice to show or tell us what theyve been doing since they last saw each other.

Boy, this needs its own thread just so we can laugh at it! First, he "likes playing different characters"? In some films, he's a low key badass cop. In others, he's a low key badass cook. Or maybe a low key badass environmentalist. And then the balloons... I actually hope this IS for real, just because it would be hilarious!

Well, Hyperion is supposed to be coming out. That has a chance, but I see bomb city.

Well, I trust Jackson, but after the godawful Reloaded, I can't say I trust the Wachowskis.

Most of you are suggesting series rather than trilogies. Trilogies consist of three movies.

The Hulk was a pathetic movie. And would be one of the biggest wastes of money i've ever seen.

I didn't know about Zahn being involved. He rules.

Thanks for the news - that just put a smile on my face.

I heard rumors that Pixar had to make Toy Story 3 as a part of a contract they signed with Disney a few years back, but compared to the first two, how much better could it get?

There is also talk of both the Chronicles of Narnia (possibly more than a trilogy) and His Dark Materials becoming films. Both have major post-LOTR, Harry Potteresque appeal.

I'd like to see either Orson Scott Card's Ender's Game trilogy or Octavia Butler's Xenogenesis trilogy, but only sort of. I'm scared Hollywood will **** them up.

YES! I love when he plays glib, free-spirited goofy space-cadets. He just doesn't do that enough!

The Chronicles of Narnia. Okay, well it technically isn't a trilogy, but I don't see 7 films being made from the books. Heck, I'm just happy one is getting off the ground.
