Spider Man Cameo?

Does anyone know what was up with Spider Man in the Italian Job for a split second?

Spider Man directed "The Italian Job" and it is not uncommon for directors to show up in their own films.

Its not really a cameo....

ok..when the guys are tracking the armored truck in HOLLYWOOD, in front of the MANN'S CHINESE theater are at various times of the day losers out there dressed as Darth Vader, or LOTR character and they take polaroids with tourists for a few bucks. So if your visiting LA LA Land...it would be fun to take a pic of yourself in front of the Mann's Chinese with a dress up Darth Vader...anyways...one of the many colorful characters these people dress up as is SPIDERMAN. I have seen him myself. My office is 3 blocks from Hollywood and Highland and I can see them there when I drive to and from lunch....

so Its not a true cameo but a glimpse into LA tourist culture...it was just an idiot dressed as Spiderman so tourist can pay him to get a pic taken with him.
