The Regal 18 at Medlock has decent sound.
The $5 matinee theater is the Georgia Theaters (next to Gwinnett Place Mall), which has okay sound, but it's highly dependent on which theater the film is playing in.

I just remember Parkway Point over by Cumberland. I wonder if they're still a good theater.

Saw it for a 4th time this afternoon. Went with a dude who hadn't seen it yet; he liked it and said he'd probably wanna see it a 2nd time. So if I go with him again, I'll enter the exclusive Five Timers' Club.

I've seen it 4 times... and that's only from the opening weekend... I do plan on seeing it probably at least 2 more times... and I'll check out the IMAX version when it hits as well...

Currently at one.
I want to see it again, but I agree about the sound (and would add video) quality being important. I don't think I can bring myself to watch it again in a theater. I've been to many less-than-5-years-old theaters in my area for various films and none of them have proper subwoofers.
They sound very similar to what my system sounded like when my low-end was around 35Hz. Now that I have a real sub that can go below my hearing threshold, my HT blows away every theater I've tried. The Imax isn't bad, but I prefer OAR on a $15 DVD to a stiff neck and an $11 ticket.
If I get pissed off one night, I might go out for a late showing just to get away from reality.

I've seen it 3 times, and have plans to see it 3 more!!! Once with my fiancee this weekend. Once with a freind who's on vacation next week, and AT LEAST once when it comes out on IMAX.

I did it once more yesterday, now it's up to 5 times for me. I saw it at the AMC at 120 and 316 in Duluth, Ga, and I loved not only the stadium seating, but the highback chairs which made it really hard for people to obscure other people's view of the screen. Kudos for this seating setup.

As expected, I entered the Five Timers' Club last night. Too bad this time I was sitting next to a "heavy breather."
On the plus side, I was only charged $7 for the ticket as opposed to the nine bucks I figured I'd pay, since it was a 9:30 PM show. Apparently I can pass for a senior citizen even though I'm barely old enough to buy alcohol?!
