The "I have seen The Matrix Reloaded more than twice" thread

Okay, so I'm poking a little fun, but I have seen it 3 times at the theaters, and will probably take in one more showing this weekend.

I've seen it twice.

First time the Theater had a Kick Arse soundsystem. Last night the sound system wasn't near as good. Whatever you do....try to see this movie with great sound...huge difference

Three times so far... Once more this weekend...

I'm going to go see it in the Zeigfield if they play it...

And I'm going opening day for The Matrix Reloaded: The IMAX Experience.

3 times. First time I had a bad seat but great sound. 2nd time I had a VERY bad seat with great sound even though the people around me kept talking to their damn kids the whole time. 3rd time I had a great seat but crappy theater and sound. So I'll probably see it again in a few weeks when I can get a good seat in a good theater

Well, I am going to see it a third time this weekend myself. I have good theaters around here, but I would like a showing without people on either side of me.

Have seen it thrice so far. A 4th viewing is likely; *maybe* even a #5 at some point........?

I'm not gonna pretend it's the deepest movie ever made, but for whatever reason, I liked it more the second time than the first, and slightly more the third time than the second. Maybe I should keep going back to see how long this pattern holds up!

Would it be overkill if I made a "The 'I have seen The Matrix Reloaded only once and don't plan to see it again'" thread?

Oops, I did it again, I saw it for a 4th time tonight.

It's an amazing technical marvel of a film.

I guess this is an on-topic question: To the people who've seen it 3 or more times, how much are you paying per ticket? I know the first 2 times I saw it I paid the $9 adult-in-the-evening rate. Good thing I don't buy any snacks or drinks during the show or I'd be going broke!

I'm a full time college student, the theater I go to charges $6 with the student discount.

Movies are one of the best deals around. I know it seems like a lot to some. But where else can you enjoy something that cost, say, $130 million to make for the price of a couple Big Mac meals?

3rd viewing sometime this coming week, maybe this weekend. Definitely a 4th if it's IMAX. Can't wait for the DVD!!!! I just hope it's in damn good quality... this kind of movie screams for 15 disc super elite collectors dream edition!!!!!!!!!

I catch the matinee pricing, so it's $5 at a nearby theater, and $6.50 at the other one (which has stadium seating and better sound).

I'll be checking it out for the second time here. I'm sure I'll probably get a couple of more viewings in before the DVD as well.

I've seen it twice. I was hoping to see it again yesterday, but I opted for the Jim Carrey movie instead.

The first time, I had okay seats with bad sound.

The second time, I had great seats with great sound.

At which theater are you seeing it? I saw it at Regal 24 and was sorely disappointed in the sound. So many of the good theaters we had in Atlanta a few years ago (many AMCs) seem to have really gone downhill. I'm thinking of heading up to NorthPoint, but if you've had success up in Duluth, I may try there.

The Regal 18 at Medlock has decent sound.

The $5 matinee theater is the Georgia Theaters (next to Gwinnett Place Mall), which has okay sound, but it's highly dependent on which theater the film is playing in.
