I had heard it might be attached to the Matrix Reloaded which marketing wise would be a smart, home-run thing to do, but knowing how they have screwed up with the past two friday the 13th's, it would not surprise me to find out they dont do this...I was wondering if anyone knew the best place to get trailers early or something...?

Why can't slasher movies go back to the hack and slash roots instead of giving them action hero moves such as jumping out of the water trinity style?

Hmm... I liked both the fake trailer and the real one. I was prepared to not like it. I really don't like the idea of putting these two together in the same movie. It looks like a Freddy movie with Jason in it... that's good. I'll go see it I guess.

This movie is for fans who grew up in the eighties during the reign of these two series. Man, I did feel old when they gave the dates when each film series started.
