Grosse Pointe Blank

"Hi. I'm, uh, I'm a pet psychiatrist. I sell couch insurance. Mm-hmm, and I -- and I test-market positive thinking. I lead a weekend men's group, we specialize in ritual killings. Yeah, you look great! God, yeah! Hi, how are you? Hi, how are you? Hi, I'm Martin Blank, you remember me? I'm not married, I don't have any kids, and I'd blow your head off if someone paid me enough."

For me it would be a tie between Gross Pointe Blank and Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil.

Apparently Cusack couldn't get the rights to the Martn Blank character from Touchstone for an official sequel so he kind of created a new adventure under a new name for him.

The Grifters

never cared for 'Say Anything', the film did nothing for me.

shouldn't there be a poll option?

Never liked Grosse Pointe Blank or Say Anything much, so I'll have to go with High Fidelity.

Better off Dead - he nailed that role.

Gross Pointe Blank is a very close second.

I'm going to go the Lays route and say I can't pick just one. Like pretty much all of them.

I've pretty much burned out on Cusack, but since it hasn't been listed I'll add the underrated ...

The Ice Harvest.

High Fidelity or Better Off Dead. Bullets Over Broadway gets an honorable mention.

You're about four years late with that concern.

These are my favorite Cusack movies. Are they the "best?" Maybe not, but they're are the most entertaining to me and the ones I've watched the most. I liked BJM, it was well done, but now it just leaves a bad taste in my mouth... So much so, that I sold my copy of it.

I'm actually surprised so many people liked Grosse Pointe Blank so much. The soundtrack is awesome, but I found the movie to be very average. Maybe I need to see it again.

I've never seen The Grifters.
