Wow. I didn't know he was HIV+...but when I read the thread title, for some reason, that's the first thing I thought of..

Nah, this is a damn shame. He was a solid character actor and way to young to leave this earth. I really enjoyed his brief turn as an obnoxious defense attorney in The Gift.

That's really sad news. He was a fine character actor.
I remember seeing an interview with on television -- ET or something -- where he revealed he was HIV positive.
Reading the article, it sounds like it wasn't the HIV/AIDS that was the cause of death, though.

wtf? i just saw michael jeter at the fountain/la brea Ralph's about a month ago. i make it a rule not to act like a fanboy when i spot celebrities, but now I regret not mentioning how much I admire his work. [email protected]

That's really sad. I just watched Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas a couple of days ago, and he was memorable in that, as he was in Jurassic Park III, Patch Adams, Green Mile, Air Bud, etc.
