Yes. This is par for the course. Sad to say that even someone who has come out and admitted they are positive have the effects of the illness downplayed even in death.

Jeter was also the draftee with the painted toenails in Hair.

Really bummed to hear about this. One of those faces I'm always glad to see in a movie.

His dance routine from Fisher King will always be a classic.

Indeed, the world is that much darker for his passing. I will always remember his performances in The Fisher King and (on stage) in Grand Hotel.

Very sad. As many have mentioned, I loved his work in The Fisher King and FALILV.

But what I remember most is how he stood out in 'The Green Mile', which is really saying something considering the quality of that ensemble. A great performance in a movie chockablock with them.
