What Are Some Cheezy / Classic Horror Flick Essentials?
Just curious because I've been looking into buying some of those midnight classics or whatever they're called. I currently own the Motel Hell / Derranged duo....anyone have any suggestions?

The Angry Red Planet
Not a Midnight Movie but highly recommended:
Them! Fun movie and fantastic transfer
and I would second the recommendations for the Blood Trilogy and The Blob (the original, not the remake)

Last Man on Earth from Diamond. It's a fuzzy non-anamorphic print, but it's a neat flick.

Waxwork is my favorite. It is very very cheesy but still fun to watch. Only problem is it's only available in R4. Ezydvd has it on sale for about $8.14 shipped to the U.S.

nobody has mentioned Dead Alive!?! One of Peter Jackson's low budget horror film. The bloodiest and goriest film I've ever seen! Funny stuff to............."I kick ass for the lord!"

i never really got into the so bad it's funny type of movie. they annoy me and i can't find any fun in watching them. however, the Wizard of Gore does it for me. ah i love that movie.

as said...just about any and all H.G. Lewis fits the bill. I also have a fondness for any cheese flick from The Blood Collection which includes Beast of Blood, Brain of Blood and Brides of Blood, among others. nothin' beats drive-in slop. spaghetti cheese could include a few of my personal favs from Italy.....Contamination, Hell of the Living Dead and Nightmare City.
