I just saw it, i thought it was pretty damm entertainining!
The build up was great, the actual mission a tad boring

A friend of mine has a good take on this movie. He says that it's actually a big explosive promo for human procreation. Check this--a hard, cylindrical (dare we say phallic) object has to go deep into "Mother Earth" so to speak and explode in order to save humanity. Could they BE any subtler?
