Great pick. A lot of people think Unforgiven is great for defying the western conventions. McCabe & Mrs. Miller did that 20 years prior!

my favorite westerns -

1- the good, the bad, and the ugly
2- mccabe & mrs. miller
3- butch cassidy and the sundance kid
4- once upon a time in the west
5- dances with wolves

I can always watch The Quick and the Dead and never get tired of it. I think it's the best comic book, over the top type of western there is.
