Some robbed, some underrated:
Raging Bull
GoodFellas ~ Both should have easily won best pic.
Eyes Wide Shut ~ Most people just didn't get it.
Nightwatch ~ Very overlooked film. Predictable but still creepy.
Bulworth ~ One of the great satires ever. Also one of the least talked about.
Of course, your opinion may vary.

Sliding Doors - people often question Gwyneth's movie-making decisions, but this one was very well done and its very underrated, imo.
The Bourne Identity - this was very under-appreciated last year, one of the top five films of the year, imo.
The 13th Warrior - a very good action/adventure period piece. Antonio Banderas makes a lot of crap, but this movie is often over-looked because he's in it. It was very well put together.
Trainspotting - people on this forum always talk about Requiem for a Dream. I much prefer Danny Boyle's film. It's much, much better, imo.
Go - sometimes it seems that this movie does not get the recognition it deserves. It has all the elements - comedy, action, drama and suspense. Just another excellent film that's often over-looked.

Dildano himself David Hemmings, a young and sexy Carolyn Seymour and a bunch of subtly unnerving British schoolkids.
My picks are a couple of Atom Egoyan films: Exotica and The Sweet Hereafter

As for Robbed movies: Not only did Woody Allen's Manhatten not win for best cinematography...it wasn't even nominated!

I'll stay on the bandwagon and say "natural born killers" is highly underrated. Maybe not as good as pulp fiction, but I enjoyed the violent atitude that the characters had and all of the filming technieques that Stone used. I saw the R rated cut, and even though most of the extreme violence may be cut out, it was still to me a very violent movie. It was morely the content and not what was actually shown. (kind of like pulp fiction in a way)

The final action scene was shot in the light, except that the entire thing was in slo-mo, lasted about a minute and a half, and lacked any kind of excitement/entertainment.
God I hate that movie...
