I wasn't sure at first. Then Bernie Mac came on screen and I thought, "Hell yeah" and then I started seeing the old ladies sing Nelly and it lost me again. Something about the mixture of Chris Rock and movies that just doesn't work for me I guess.

While I'm sure it'll be a funny enough film, Ali G: Indahouse already used a very similar story last year.
So now Ali G can proudly say he was the first to rip off The Candidate and Mr. Smith Goes To Washington.
BOYAKASHA!

"You the Man" "You the Woman!"
Old ladies singing Nelly.
The phrase "The roof is on fire" causing stupid white people to go into a panic and belive that the roof actually is on fire.
"I'll take 'Three things you could include in a preview to make me not want to see it' for 1000, Alex."

exactly, majorjoe.
i will not be seeing the movie based ont he preview. isn't the preview supposed to make you want to see it? so it should include some funny parts?
the whole "let's have white people misunderstand slang and later say 'off da hizzle fo shizzle.'" is not funny.
even the joke of rock's they show "what's 4 plus 4? 44!" isn't funny.
the only remotely funny part of the preview is when bernie mac is asked about NATO.

Yay, another 'stick a loud black person in what is normally considered a white person's situation' movie! Let the stereotypes/white jokes begin!
I bet we get at least one scene where Chris Rock makes a pack of old white people dance to a rap song.
