I agree. While the Terminator, Snake, etc. characters are cool, they should have created a separate line for these and let the Movie Maniacs stay just that. That said, my dream lineup would be...

Pinhead (Hellraiser)
...or even a separate all-Cenubite series

The Tall Man (Phantasm)
With a few shiny spheres...

Jack (The Shining)
In the 'lurching with an axe' pose

Hannibal Lector (Silence of the Lambs)
Prison jumpsuit with bloody face

Tarman (Return of the Living Dead)
More braaaaaains...

Trash (Return of the Living Dead)
Heh heh...

Dr. Loomis (Halloween)

Trench-coat Freddy (Wes Craven's New Nightmare)

Sack-head Jason (Friday the 13th Part 2)
Complete with Mrs. Voorhees' head

You know the title "Movie Maniacs" doesnt have to refer to maniacs in movies (like it did orginally)

It could just looked at as a general line of figures that have charaters from movies (which it is now).

The line has movie charaters in it, well instead of giving it a different name for each and every figure cranked out i figure the name "Movie Manaics" is a good general name.

I see it as a name describing the people who are buying the figures

You have to wonder why they didn't change the next series name to "Alien maniacs" since the next line up of MM will just be DAMN ALIENS and Predators! WTF? make a series for them. it would make sense.

I don't mind some random movie characters, but if you are going to do a few characters of the movie, you might aswell make it a series.

Terminator series (And really, why bother since Arnold's likeness wasnt allowed so they F'ed it up)

I'm just gonna have to get the Queen and maybe the Alien/Predator boxset (if i can find it) then quit.

Bah..."Dog Alien" from 3 and "Warrior Alien" from Resurrection?

Well screw them sonsabitches!

However it is a toss up between which Predator...

That Queen figure looks pretty damn sweet! All we need now is a Ripley in a Power Loader (Probably coming in MM 7)

Doubt it, Todd has better chances when he goes after figures that don't have a likeness of an actor. Look what happened with Arnold and look what is holding up and is blocking a Hannibal figure.. the actor's not wanting to sign off on the likeness of themselves in the toy.

It's a shame that sales for this line will still be very high.

People may not be happy with these figures being in line #6 but you can bet a ton of folks will still buy them. As I've said before ( in an Other thread I believe ) I currently have a mass amount of high end Predator and Alien items and can't see buying these figures. The box set is another story.

I know there has to be a good reason for this line of figures. Todd has WAY more sense than this doesn't he? The guy makes great figures and sells them at amazing prices. We may never know the reason for this tragedy but I'm sure there was some serious thought behind it.

MM7 better come fast and have the best damn_figures yet!

I'd like me some Boondock Saints.

Think they could write the tattoos on small enough?
