Elvis Meets Nixon
Never saw that one (or heard of it, for that matter). When was it made?

ELVIS MEETS NIXON was a Showtime movie that came out around '98 or so.

There was one I can't remember the name of that had Forest Whitikar trying to expose a plot to overthrow the president. Dana Delany and Sam Waterson were in it too. Anyone remember the title?

That's right! Wasn't there also some part about a new cigarette:

"They said they taste like sh*t"

"Well, how do they smell?"

"Like a fart..."

What a great movie.

Also, I had forgotten that The Late Shift was HBO.

61*

And one not yet mentioned:

The Pentagon Wars - hysterical comedy about the military bureaucracy with Cary Elwes and Kelsey Grammer

D'oh!!!
Though I still think it's more entertaining than all the HBO movies listed. I liked Bleacher Bums alot, too (another Showtime movie). Barbarians at the Gate and RKO 281 were both great, though.

I haven't had HBO for awhile, but liked these:
Barbarians at the Gate (1993)
Doomsday Gun (1994)
Indictment: The McMartin Trial (1995)
The Late Shift (1996)
Path to Paradise: The Untold Story of the World Trade Center Bombing (1997)
RKO 281 (1999)
Truman (1995)
The Tuskegee Airmen (1995)
Now I know what the 'F' in 'F. Ross Johnson' stands for.

All HBO films are my favorite, but The Tuskegee Airmen probably my top favorite.

Bumping this up, for those of you who have HBO Signature, Barbarians is on right now.
