Yes,

I remember when someone spoiled Urban Legend for me. I nearly ripped the guys throat out! Now I don't wanna watch it because I know how it ends.

A whole bunch of movies have been spoiled for me. Unbreakable, The Perfect Storm, Pay It Forward, etc., etc.

I, too, experienced a drive by spoiler. During a conversation, someone blurted out the ending of The Sixth Sense on purpose. They thought it was funny. Har har. I'm still laughing.

However, I still enjoyed the film. Watched it in a movie theatre alone. Which had never happened before and hasn't happened since.

A friend of mine caught an test screening of Minority Report.
Spoiler:
He then proceeded to reveal that the villain turns out to be Tom Cruise, but from 10 years into the future. Thanks a lot, jackass!

Come on Groucho, you've been here long enough to use the Spoiler tags. I sincerely hope this isn't the true ending that you've ruined for quite a few members... -Blake

If this isn't 100% BS, I'm going to kick 100% of your ass.

My mother totally spoiled Se7en to my sister just as she started it. She told her
Spoiler:
that gwyneth's head ends up in a box at the end

Ruined the movie!

Most recently, an inconsiderate poster on this very forum spoiled the ending of Training Day for me.

For those concerned, the Minority Report "spoiler" was 100% BS. I don't know anything about the film, I just made something up. Should have used the , sorry.

For me, the biggest spoiler for Se7en wasn't:

Spoiler:
the head in the box

It was:

Spoiler:
the surprise appearence by Kevin Spacey!

Luckily, neither was spoiled for me.

About a quarter way through Sixth Sense I turned to my girlfriend and said,
Spoiler:
"Bruce Willis must be dead. Everyone ignores him except for the boy and we never figured out what happened after he was shot."

Needless to say, she was none to happy with me at the end of the film.. had the bruises on my arm to prove it.

Luckily, when I first viewed Seven

Spoiler:
I'd never heard of Kevin Spacey. If I knew then what I know now, I'd have probably recognized his voice as well

Someone on this board spoiled Unbreakable for me. It was my own fault though, it was blacked out and I couldn't control myself.

Honk!

lets see:

sixth sense
training day
titanic (just kidding)

what pisses me off is the descriptions in the DVD chapter list on the box, sometimes it tells you exactly what happens which spoils parts of the movie, ex. the godfather, on the flaps it says what happens in each scene, i hated that since i never saw it until the DVD came out

I think most of the movie trailers I watch are filled with spoilers. Some even give away the ending by showing clips that I know haven't appeared in the film yet as I watch it. I then extrapolate the images from the trailer to fill in the, as yet, missing information and come up with a conclusion which isn't too far from the actual one. One recent example is the trailer from The Fast and the Furious where it shows every action sequence from the movie. This seems to be the case of every action movie trailer.

Nope, but I spoiled one myself. I was looking at upcomingmovies.com before Fight Club came out and saw a blank space which spoiled the ending when you highlighted over it. The site warned of the spoiler but I couldn't resist since I didn't think the movie would be any good. After the movie came out and a lot of people on the internet started praising it I was like....crap, what did I do this time. I don't want a movie spoiled for me ever again.

I still enjoyed Fight Club though.

Yeah, I was talking to an old buddy from high school online, and brought up the fact that I got the Twin Peaks DVD set for Christmas. His response was, "Yeah, that was a great series! Man, I can't believe that
Spoiler:
Laura's dad was the one who ended up killing her, huh?
." Needless to say, I haven't seen season 2 yet, but my enthusiasm for its release has been dampened by my a-hole buddy. At least he apologized; he knows nothing about DVD and figured I had watched the entire series when I said I had "Gotten Twin Peaks on DVD and loved it".

The most pissed I've ever been about a movie being ruined. Usual Suspects comes out on video. I've never seen it, heard a lot of good things, and can't wait to watch it. Decide to wait for my roommate to get back from class to check it out (in college at the time). While I'm waiting, I flip through a magazine. Dave Grohl is a guest movie reviewer and reviews the Usual Suspects. At the beginning of the review, he says it's a great movie with many twists and turns but not to worry...he won't give anything away. So I read the review. He's vague but praising the movie and how the film does an excellent job of making you wonder "Who is Keyser Soze". The last sentence of the review..."By the way, for anyone who hasn't seen this film yet,
Spoiler:
Kevin Spacey is Keyser Soze."
I haven't been able to listen to the Foo Fighters since.

Friends have also been unable to keep from ruining the endings of Sixth Sense, Unbreakable and the Others to me. I haven't watched any of these films because of it. Still love the Usual Suspects though...just wish I'd have had that rush of surprise at the end.

The only movie that somone spoiled the ending on me was "Unbreakable". I had a friend who saw "Unbreakable" before I did, he said that the ending was shocking and all that and he told me all about it and I was pretty pissed after that.

After that, the Mission that would've been Impossible would be someone trying get my foot out of that guy's ass.

Honk!
