YES YES YES YES!!!! I would have had that on the list, but i had blocked it out of my mind entirely....easily the worst theater-going experience of my life in terms of dissapointment with the film. They took everything that was good about the first (intelligent script, kept you guessing, you had to THINK) and pared it down to an explosions and fistfights braindead MTV caliber puke-fest.....a truly god awful movie.

Um, hello, how have you people forgotten The Avengers??? What a complete waste of time (and money on the makers' part). I'm hoping that nobody else mentioned it only because it was so bad it was erased from memory. Horrible.

Is it a coincidence that these are the top five films, in order, on the AFI 100 greatest American films of all time list?

I would like to know what was sooo bad about "Fargo" to rank it 'The Worst Movie' by some of youse people. Give examples, please. It's always interesting to read why a film gets your goat, it gives the reader a glimpse into your psyche.

(I would defend the film, but this isn't the thread for it.)

Some of the movies listed are pretty damn bad, but CAN NOT be the worst you have seen. Pearl Harbor? Awesome cinematography, good fx, nice music. Can be bad, but THE WORST.

Same for Gladiator. Same for Titanic.

How about naming actual BAD films?

Admittedly, I haven't seen Caligula or Salo or Freddy Got Fingered .. and neither have I any intention to .. and I can truly see how crap like The Avengers would be on someone's list ..

.. but I can't take anyone seriously who doesn't have The Tin Drum on the list of Worst Ever.

I've been bored in movies, aggravates with some, resented the time wasted, and walked out of my fair share of crap movies .. but I have NEVER been this insulted by a piece of crap movie as I was with The Tin Drum.

btw, I wouldn't rate Fargo as Worst Ever by a long margin, but I too didn't "get" it either.

Mars Attacks!
Better Off Dead
The Matrix

This list was a list of things that I thought would be good but made me leave in the middle; the list excludes films that I know will be bad (Police Academy 4, Hell Comes to Frogtown) before I see them.

Worst movie I’ve ever seen? I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again:

Pulp Fiction

Before I get blasted for this, let me point out that I am merely saying that Pulp Fiction is the worst movie that I, personally, have ever seen; just as the thread title suggests. I am not insinuating that Pulp Fiction is the worst movie ever made.

I simply found Pulp Fiction to be a raunchy and disgusting film, and while that may perhaps be what the filmmakers intended, such films have little or no entertainment value for me. I found the film to be neither comedic nor dramatic, and it was a chore for me to make it all the way through it.

I realize I am in the minority here, and it has been previously put to me that life is not always pretty. However, if I want to be disgusted or depressed, I’ll simply watch the 6:00 news.

I'm not complaining at your comment at all but imo, the only real "Raunchy" scene is the "foot massage" statements, and the "will you give me oral pleasure" comments. It is more vulgar then raunchy imo.
