No way, Rebel Without A Cause was by far the best movie of 1995.

...What the hell? I'm caught in a time warp!

just to clear things up...

I've seen 12 Monkeys listed in multiple threads including this one...

according to Amazon, the theatrical release date is 1996...not 1995.

Alright, as I expected, though it wasn't my cup of tea, Usual Suspects has come out on top (so far), with 7 votes, but the race is still open with Braveheart and Heat pretty close behind.

Full results:
1) Usual Suspects (7)
2) Braveheart / Heat (5 each)
4) Leaving Las Vegas / Safe (3 each)
6) Seven (2.5)

To clear things up even more, IMDB has the US premier as 1995:

http://us.imdb.com/ReleaseDates?0114746

Anyway, I don't know if we've officially decided, but that release date (probably in LA and NY) would have qualified it for '95's Oscars, and so I'm guessing it goes in '95 for us, too.

Thanks Bar...I'll go with the IMDB. They got that mad trick ass info happenin'.

So...change my vote from Braveheart to 12 Monkeys. The "Freedom" cry being the deciding factor in which movie I go with.

So where does Amazon get their theatrical release dates then?

...you mean the Oscars held in the year 1996 for 1995 movies right?

Just so I don't get confused later with votes changed (didn't count on that),

Current Results:
1) Usual Suspects (7)
2) Heat (6)
3) Braveheart (4)
4) Leaving Las Vegas / Safe (3 each)
6) Seven (2.5)
