So this auction is up to $235.71... who here really wants to pay 1/3 of the cost?

i was under the impression that it'd be 1/3 of the eBay insertion/end of auction fee....

yes.. its 1/3 of the ebay fees
the ebay fees are probably under $10 total right now
so 1/3 of that is still pretty reasonable

Buy It Now = $0.05
$0 - $25 5.25% of the closing value
$25 - $1,000 5.25% of the initial $25 ($1.31),
plus 2.75% of the remaining closing value balance ($25.01 to $1,000)
235.71 = 1.31 + 5.79 = $7.10 total fees
so $7.10 + .35 = 7.45 / 3 = $2.48 each for the high bidders
this is if my math is correct and I didnt miss anything?

of course.. the top 3 bidders at the end will split the ebay fees (currently about 2.50 each).. but only the top bidder will have get the great feedback left under their name, and have this auction forever tied to their ebay account..
so maybe we will see a minor bidding war at the end, for whoever thinks its worth a few more nickels to be in the top spot and get the feedback

Whoever wins, make sure to leave in the seller feedback that it was shipped in a secured, padded crate or something in case your curious Nike guy is still curious after the sale.
