if you would like 300 dpi versions of them, just email me for now until i post them.

ps: what do ya all think??
Jason,

Those covers look excellent, much better than the awful snappers. I was think of creating just a single cover to fit a seven disc Amaray case, but I may just print these instead.

I'll be emailing you for the 300 dpi versions.

Great Job!

I have a server and might be able to donate space/bandwidth for everyone. I've been lurking for some time and with dvdcomverart.com being down for the time being, I thought I might be able to help out. What I need to know is how many covers (i.e. total space needed) that everyone would want to post. I'm assuming also that typical size is 3mb, let me know if I'm wrong.

Feel free to post responses or to e-mail them directly to me.

Anybody willing to create Sopranos covers to fit single amaray cases, maybe from scans off the VHS boxes?

Oh, Fantasia Anthology cover should be up by Sunday night at the latest.

Frailty

Hi. This is my first post here, and I was just wondering if anyone has a scan of the frailty cover. I am working on a custom cover (and insert)for it, and I need the text and other stuff that's on the back.

I was not knocking a contributing site for covers, nor was I trying to discourage the idea. I love Darth's covers and appreciate the great work he does. I hope he continues to post his covers. I was only mentioning the fact that Matt has so many great covers on his site that maybe we could all try to keep his site up as well as the new ones cropping up.
Eventually, eveyone uses the diffrent sites for covers they need. The more out there the better. I don't think 1 site will be enough for all the covers, eventually we will run out of room there also.

Yep same UPC code number as my Halloweens......where have I seen that before??????? could it be the backs to my Halloween customs that I made????? hmmmm interesting......You should have at least changed the UPC code. All my customs have the same UPC code. That's what I use as a signature.
Would that be considered customizing a custom?
But it does look good though.

I'm still looking for those UPC codes? I can't seem to find any UPC seal at all, on any of the 8 Nightmare covers???????

He probably removed them. I emailed him and asked if he wouldn't mind taking them off. If you look at my customs all of them have the exact same UPC code. It's kinda like a signature for my covers.

Can anyone tell me what is the exact size of a cover? The people at KINKO's asked me to tell them what size I need the covers printed out but I think I messed up.

Do you just tell them 10.75/7.25?

Thank you so much for your help and sorry if there' s a definitive answer to this questions......I looked and oculd not find it...

10.8" x 7.25" @ 300dpi will size it right.

I'd also contribute to get dvdcoverart back up. It's getting confusing and depressing not having a central site.

Hey marioxb, would the custom Pearl Harbor cover happen to be a 4-disc aplha using the original poster artwork? (the one with the "Faces")

Does anyone know where I can get inserts for Warner Brothers releases that dont have inserts, because the info is printed on the inside cover? I am running out of room to store my more than 500 DVD`s so Im starting to keep them in a case logic carry album that allows you to put the insert on one side of the page and the DVD on the other. Each carry case can hold up to 50 DVD`s. This way I can put all the DVD boxes in a big box or boxes in the attic and keep all my DVD`s on one shelf in these cases. The problem being I cant put inserts with the DVD`s because the Warner discs dont have any. Is it possible to find someplace to be able to print out inserts for Warner discs?

WB replacement Digipack for V:TFB?

How good is WBHV's customer service for replacing damaged cases? Their "security sticker" peeled off some of the black ink from my "V: The Final Battle" DVD case. As you probably know, the black motif is integral to the look of the cover, and little white spots detract from it. I don't want to just run over them with a sharpie, because it would be noticeable, IMO.

Thoughts?

Back on my meds,

CS

You could put it in a request for the inserts you need and some people on this board may be able to locate/make them for you. Or if you have a scanner, scan them and resize them to 120mm x 180mm.

Thanks. No problem.

Well, yes and no. It's the cover from the original release non-Vista Series version I downloaded off of dvdcoverart.com a while ago and modified it to reflect the features of the Vista Series one. I don't have any four disc cases, so it's only for a slim double amaray. My idea was to put the two movie discs in one case and the two special discs in another case. Still working on a case for the special discs. It'll probably be the original Vista Series scan modified to list only the special features, not the movie. Is there a way to post pictures (or just a preview of it) on here if I don't have a web site? If there is, I can post a picture of it. Also, I can probably modify it a bit more to fit a four disc case if I knew the dimensions (in pixels).

How good is WBHV's customer service for replacing damaged cases? Their "security sticker" peeled off some of the black ink from my "V: The Final Battle" DVD case. I don't know about getting an actual replacement, but I can send you the scans I downloaded from dvdcoverart.com, one for just The Final Battle, one with both The Final Battle and the original in the same case, if that would help.
