It wasn't my fault! Really it wasn't! An old friend came in out of town! The car ran out of gas! I got a flat tire! I didn't have enough money for cab fare! The tux didn't come back from the cleaners! There was an earthquake! A terrible flood! Locusts! IT WASN'T MY FAULT I SWEAR TO GOD!!!

These are legit discs for which I need covers.

Unless, ya'll want to keep up the feeling of brotherhood going on here with all the emailing and posting one cover as a time [due to limited server space].

Just a thought.
Well, if contributions are needed to get DVDCoverArt up again, I'll gladly contribute.

Another quick request -- JFK: Special Edition Director's Cut. Picked this up used this afternoon and the way Warner packaged two discs into a normal size snapper is atrocious. I'd like to have them in a double Amaray instead.

I think DVD Coverart used to have a custom for this...

I'll be RE-DOING covers for Friday the 13th parts 1-4 with more-awesome screenshots on the back, and alternate poster artwork for part 3 (of Jason smashing through the window in red-blue 3-D!). You may also notice that the parts 1 and 2 covers have Pamela spoilers on them.
Yes they came with covers, I bought them used at the local Record Exchange the snap cases are somewhat worn so scanning them isn't going to work.
Sorry I asked.

Can anyone help me find the cover arts and inserts for the following:

Evil Dead : Book Of The Dead
Pearl Harbor (Vista Series)
Oz Season 1
24 Season 1
X-Files Season 2
Evil Dead 2 Limited Edition tin
Hellraiser Limited Edition tin

and just the inserts for:

Sopranos Season 1
Seven Platinum Series
Panic Room SuperBit
The Matrix

My e-mail
Thanks

BTW, I'd be all for "getting together and pitch in to start a DVD cover site" but if there's a way we could help DVDCoverart.com get up and running again, I'd rather do that instead.

Retracting my request for JFK. I went ahead and scanned it myself, ditched the big "Oliver Stone Collection" border, made the spine to match the style of WB's recent 2-disc releases, and fashioned a nice gatefold insert out of the remains of the old cardboard snapper.

Not to long ago, Matt was having problems with his site. Without his asking, a few of us gave a $5 through Paypal to help him out.
I don't disagree with a contributing site from all of us, but Matt did alot of work for us and I would like to help him out again.
Perhaps if we make a small donation on a regular basis we can use DVDCoverart as our contribution site and we will all be happy.

Just a thought.

Here's a new custom I'm working on. It'll fit a Slim Amaray Double. I can resize it to fit an Alpha double also. Once it's finished I'll post it on my site when it get's back up.

This one was tough. I had to use the original sleeve from the standard edition for the pics of Bruce and Haley. Then I had to blur, recolor, blend, add the logo. Now I have to add all the credits, extras, and the Vista Series header on the front and spine. The "breath" coming out of Bruces mouth I added using the airbrush tool.
I'm actually proud of this one so far.
Chris

I offered many times to give a little cash to Matt. I wasn't aware that he had a Paypal account otherwise I would just sent him a few bucks.
I still offer to help him out whenever I email him, I've tried located webhost that may suit his needs as well. Before I found Matt's site I really didn't know how many people made customs like I enjoyed doing.
I've since been working on getting my own cover site opened, not to take from away from Matt's at all. I think I've made that clear many times. Just so then I have a place to put my own covers and a few examples from other artists.
But I've never forgotten DVDCoverArt and I always praise the work Matt has done for all of us to be able to showcase our work.
If anything by storing my own 20+ covers I at least don't take up his room or bandwidth with my stuff.
His site will always be the best available.

I don't know if anybody has asked yet, but can anybody make a cover for the U.S. version of "Brotherhood of the Wolf" based on the Canadian version? I like the DVD, I just hate the cover. I guess it would be easier to use the art from the 1 disc instead of the 3 disc version. Or if anybody knows where I can get a hi-res pic of the poster art, I could even put one together myself. Please let me know if anybody can help. Thanks!!!!!!

Very nice, darth!

But... am I the only one who likes having fancy packaging for DVDs instead of putting them all into keepcases?

No, i like the fancy packaging at times too. But when you have a full house as I do it helps to convert them into the hard plastic keep cases, so the box doesn't get beat up.
Then you also have the collectors that like having all of their DVD's in keep cases.
I don't mind doing the conversions I enjoy it.

Perhaps you misunderstood me. I'm not slamming DVDCoverart or Matt at all...just trying to get something together to get it up and running. Be it donating $$$, resources, knowledge or all three. That's all.

Thanks. I just found the same thing. Although I'm not sure if the quality will be good enough. If I can find a scan of the back of the BOTW DVD, I'll see what I can do with it. But I'm not exactly a Photoshop wiz......

I think it looks nice, the back layout looks awfully familiar...faded villian face with type over it, colored icons on the bottom, special features with a colored fog, and 3 aligned pics in a row ....Hey and that UPC code looks the same too.
Yep same UPC code number as my Halloweens......where have I seen that before??????? could it be the backs to my Halloween customs that I made????? hmmmm interesting......You should have at least changed the UPC code. All my customs have the same UPC code. That's what I use as a signature.
Would that be considered customizing a custom?
But it does look good though.
