Need help with Fonts
Whats the appropriate sized font to use on a cover, because I can't seem to get it right.
Sizes for back text and logo text are what I'm looking for.

Sebastian let me be the first to say Thank You for the great Idle Hands cover. I have been hoping someone would create a custom for it.

@Londo fixed the typo, also added a little black border to make it easier to cut out...

Seriously Sebastian, thanks for the cover -- it is cool. There's only one thing wrong with it...not enough JESSICA ALBA! Especially the scene in the auto shop. [you know which one i'm talking about...

had to switch hosting companies, as I was using more bandwidth than they though I should (~10gb/month)
the site will be back up as soon as the DNS changes take place. I'm in the process of uploading everything to the new server now.

Sebastian: Personally, the spine should have some color other than green, IMO. I wasn't too thrilled with the front cover of New Line's version; I think yours is better. The back of New Line's was pretty decent, showing the menu screen too. I think their version edges yours simply for that reason (although I prefer your color scheme.
BTW, your Hellraiser cover is great! Also, although I'm not a fan of Idle Hands, that cover is leaps and bounds above the crap that the studio designed. Well done!
(And www.dvdcoverart.com is still not up for me...)

Looks pretty darn good Sebastian. It's definitely better than NL cover. The only thing I would recommend adjusting is the green picture tone of Kyle McLaughlin on the spine and maybe change the tagline on the front cover to either white or black lettering, for it's a little difficult to make out. Nice job

I could put back the standard color for Kyles face, but I found it kinda stands out to much rather then blending in... and for the tagline... its much better readable when printed out... I had it in white first, but it was too much of an eye catcher and diverted too much attention from the main motive... but I guess thats just a normal matter of taste

Another great cover Sebastian. are you gonna try A.I. using the original poster? how about Hollow Man? or Kiss Of The Dragon? or The One? there are so many bad covers out there that i'm sure i'm forgetting alot.

Sebastian: As for the menu screen on the back, call me weird.
From a marketing standpoint, the menu makes sense. These alternative covers are supposed to replace the standard studio covers, so they are for fans of the movies (or haters of snappers). When I designed a cover for an issue of Inside DVD with the old black & white Little Shop of Horrors, I included a pic of the original Inside DVD coverslip (had Freddy Krueger on it) as a...marketing gimmick, I guess.
Hellbound? Cover's pretty good and works well, but I *really* like the Hellraiser one.
As for Idle Hands, based on your cover, I'm thinking about renting the flick. I saw it in the theater and was pretty disappointed. However, maybe I should give it another chance. After all, if I like it, I'll buy it and then I can use your amazing cover. (I'm serious too. Call me weird.)
