15) Spirit of 76 http://us.imdb.com/Title?0100670
16) Legend of Billie Jean, The http://us.imdb.com/Title?0089470

Notes on movies:

- Cold Comfort Farm (1995) (TV)
("I saw something Nasty in the woodshed..." this is available in zone 2 however. In England in the early 1930's, 20 year old Flora Poste, recently orphaned and left with only 100 pounds a year, goes to stay with distant relatives on Cold Comfort Farm. Everyone on the gloomy farm is completely around the twist, but Flora tries to sort everything out...)

- Restless Natives
(Two Scottish friends become local folk heroes and tourist attractions when they start holding up tour busses with novelty items)

- Time of Their Lives, The
(this is an abbott and costello movie from 46. Two ghosts who were mistakenly branded as traitors during the Revolutionary War return to 20th century New England to retieve a letter from George Washington which would prove their innocence. Having lived a stones throw from the battle field in Lexington Mass, I have an attachment to films like this, and this one is surely original. Its oddly missing from the rest of the A&C movie releases.)

- Spirit of 76
(Future Americans decide to time travel to 1776 to ask the founding fathers for the solutions to their problems. A glitch in the time machine changes their destination to 1976. Still believing themselves to be in 1776, the time travellers attempt to study this "ideal" civilization. 70's jokes, props and stars abound. This movie is a classic time caspule of the era. My favorite inside joke was the Patridge Family lunch box sitting on the amp in the garage of one of the 70s kids. The lead in the film was none other than David Casidy)

- Legend of Billie Jean, The
(Great soundtrack on this one. Average Texas teen, Billie Jean Davy, is caught up in an odd fight for justice. She is usually followed and harrased around by local boys, who, one day, decide to trash her brother's scooter for fun. The boys' father refuses to pay them back the price of the scooter. The fight for "fair is fair" takes the teens around the state and produces an unlikely hero. Also it was Christian Slater's first Movie apperance. His

sister Helen was in the lead)

"A Midnight Clear" is a very underrated film. It's not on my top 20 list, but is still a good choice.

Just a quick post to clarify one of the movies I listed in my post on page 1 of this thread. I edited that post to add info on 'A Matter of Life and Death' as there's also a made for TV movie by the same name that I just found out about. I'm of course refering to the 1946 film that is sometimes also known as 'Stairway to Heaven'. Sorry if this caused any confusion.
