I have all my DVD's shipped to a friend in the US. He ships them back to me in batches of 10-12 via USPS. But I'm in Canada, not Australia.
As someone above pointed out, beware of carrier's ridiculous brokerage charges. Cheaper to use USPS if you don't mind not being able to track the package. And again, make sure you mark the package as "gift" and put a $ value that will be under the Australian limit to avoid customs charges.

USPS is the most economical way to go. I've got a friend that I met here at dvdtalk and I ship 4 DVD's at a time to Norway for under $10. Usually we don't have 10-20 discs like that other user to ship at one time.
the address for the international shipping that someone listed is good, but as I recall takes a lot of clicking to find the option you want.
Global Express letter pack (large) fits 4 DVD's and it's only about $9.00 to Norway. The price varies depending on the country.
