I love XC & I've meet the guys who run it which are really cool people but....
Their prices on most things are ridiculous so I'm not surprised they are closing.

If you like 1860, you might also want to pick up Quattro Passi fra le Nuvole [Four Steps in the Clouds] (1942) - absolutely delightful film

Re: Xploited is going away...
What a coincidence. I took the opportunity to pick up 1860 as well.
Also got:
Lovecraft Vol 5 "Strange Aeons" (never shipped from DDD after the 20% off sale and I got sick of waiting after 6+ weeks)
Forgotten Pistolero/Unholy Four
Texas Adios (both of those DVDs were cheaper than at Amazon - especially once the discount was added in)
I still really want some of those import HD-DVDs, but at those prices it needs to be more than a 15% discount

The Ripley's Home Video titles Xploited carries are all significantly cheaper at www.dvd.it (plus they have Before the Revolution), but their site seems to be in Italian only. Has anyone ordered from them before? How is their shipping?

Ordered the Canadian Ilsa box set (She Wolf of the SS/Harem Keeper of the Oil Sheiks/Tigress of Siberia) for under $40 since the Anchor Bay's US release (which substitutes Wicked Warden for Tigress) is long OOP and exorbitantly priced.

Yes, Tigress of Siberia appears to be. Doesn't matter much since I've got multiple players that handle PAL nicely, but it's an odd inclusion for a box set released in NTSC territory.

I don't mind the PAL disc either (although it's weird that they include it). I just wanted to make sure that there wasn't an all-NTSC set that I was unaware of.

I picked up La Signora Tutti from them and had no problems - shipping was high though (think amazon.de high)

I just recieved what will be my last order from a company I love. My Dark Waters 2 disc limited boxset (with replica amulet) came today, packed perfect and shipped quickly just as all previous orders have been. I'm glad to see they keep their quality and care for customers up until the end.

I might grab that King Kong 1976 HD-DVD if there are any left. The site is blocked at my job so I can't check right now.
