Seven Swords Hong Kong LE box question

I just bought Seven Swords Hong Kong 3-disc LE with swords replicas. It's mentioned on different sites this release comes in two versions: with swords of true tone (2000 copies) and charcoal ones (1000 copies). Every box has a authenticity certificate with a personal number. So mine has 2623. How is that possible if only 2000 copies available of the kind I bought (true tone)? Can someone help me out here?

maybe is production number. just like the oldboy tin. they kept 2000 of them but maybe made more of the swords as to account for deffects etc. only a guess though.
